Certifications, Accreditations & Memberships
MCS Certified Contractor
What is it?
MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) is the recognised UK certification scheme and standards framework for small-scale renewable-energy installations. Certification is issued through approved assessment bodies following an evaluation of business processes and installation work against MCS Installation Standards.
What it means to customers
Omni3 Limited is MCS certified for the installation of Solar PV systems under MIS 3002 and Electrical Energy (Battery) Storage Systems under MIS 3012, certified since 25 August 2026. For installations within the relevant capacity limits, MCS certification is the standard route used to demonstrate suitable installation certification for Smart Export Guarantee applications.
Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA)
What is it?
ECA is the UK's leading trade association for electrotechnical and engineering services contractors, with over 130 years of representing the industry.
What it means to customers
Omni3 is a proud ECA Registered Member. ECA membership provides independent recognition of our technical competence, commitment to safety, compliance with industry standards and dedication to delivering high-quality installations for residential, commercial and industrial clients.
NICEIC Approved Contractor
What is it?
NICEIC is the UK's leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry.
What it means to customers
Our electrical work is independently assessed through regular technical audits, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations and industry best practice.
TrustMark Registered Business
What is it?
TrustMark is a government-endorsed quality scheme for tradespeople and businesses in the home improvement and repair sector.
What it means to customers
Omni3 has been independently vetted for technical competence, customer service standards and trading practices. TrustMark provides ongoing oversight and consumer protection.
RECC Membership
What is it?
RECC (Renewable Energy Consumer Code) is a consumer code approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, covering the sale and installation of domestic renewable energy systems.
What it means to customers
RECC membership means Omni3 adheres to a strict code of practice covering transparent quotations, honest sales processes, consumer protection and renewable energy best practice.
IWA Approved Installer
What is it?
IWA has administered Deposit Protection and Guarantee Insurance schemes for the home improvement market since 1985, working with FCA-authorised insurers.
What it means to customers
As an IWA Approved Installer, Omni3 can provide eligible customers with deposit protection certificates and insurance-backed workmanship guarantees for qualifying projects. Policies are underwritten by FCA-authorised insurers and covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
OZEV Authorised Installer
What is it?
OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) authorises installers to deliver EV charging installations under Government grant schemes including the Workplace Charging Scheme, Landlord Grant, and Renter & Flat Owner Grant.
What it means to customers
As an OZEV Authorised Installer, Omni3 can deliver grant-eligible EV chargepoint installations for homeowners, landlords, businesses and educational establishments, helping eligible customers access Government funding to reduce installation costs.
CAI Membership
What is it?
CAI (Confederation of Aerial Industries) is the UK trade body for professionals working in aerial, satellite, CCTV and audio-visual installation.
What it means to customers
CAI membership demonstrates recognised standards, specialist knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development in security and AV systems.

Omni3 Limited is an endorsed Which? Trusted Trader. Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme run by Which?, the UK's consumer champion.
