Intruder Alarm Installation in West Sussex & the South East
Pyronix wireless alarm systems with cloud monitoring, smartphone alerts and professional installation. Protect your home or business with reliable, intelligent detection — designed and installed by NICEIC approved engineers.
Who is an alarm system for?
Homeowners
Protect your family and property with wireless sensors on doors, windows and key areas. Get instant smartphone alerts if anything triggers while you are away. Arm and disarm from your phone — no need for key fobs or codes at the door.
Commercial & retail
Secure premises, stock rooms and restricted areas with zoned alarm systems. Multiple user codes, scheduled arming and cloud-based monitoring give you full control. Ideal for shops, offices, warehouses and multi-tenant buildings.
Landlords & property managers
Protect vacant properties and rental units with wireless alarm systems that require no permanent wiring. Cloud monitoring lets you check status remotely. Easy to reconfigure between tenants.

Our alarm installation process
Free security assessment
We visit your property, identify entry points and vulnerable areas, and discuss your security priorities. We assess whether wireless, wired or hybrid is best for your building.
System design & quote
We recommend sensor types and positions, panel location and sounder placement. You receive a clear, itemised quote with a site plan showing all device locations.
Professional installation
Our engineers install the panel, sensors, sounders and all associated wiring or wireless devices. Wireless systems typically take half a day. Wired or hybrid systems may take a full day.
Programming & configuration
We program zones, set user codes, configure PyronixCloud remote access and test every sensor. We set up push notifications and walk-test the entire system.
Handover & training
We show you how to arm, disarm, use the app, manage user codes and respond to alerts. Full documentation and compliance certificates provided.
What affects alarm system cost?
Number of sensors
A typical home needs 4–8 sensors (PIRs plus door/window contacts). Larger properties or commercial premises may need 15–30+. More sensors mean a larger panel and more programming.
Wireless vs wired
Wireless systems are faster to install and less disruptive — ideal for homes and retrofits. Wired systems are more robust for large commercial installations. Hybrid systems combine both.
Pet-friendly detectors
Standard PIR sensors trigger on pet movement. Pet-immune detectors are designed to ignore animals up to a certain weight. Essential for homes with dogs or cats.
External sounders
A visible bell box on the outside of your property is a strong visual deterrent. Dual sounders (internal + external) are standard on most installations.
Cloud monitoring
PyronixCloud gives you remote arm/disarm, event history and push notifications at no ongoing cost. Professional monitoring centre connections are available at additional monthly cost.
Integration with CCTV
Linking your alarm to CCTV adds visual verification of every alert. This increases the initial setup cost but dramatically improves the value of your security system.
Home alarm systems: typically £400 – £1,200 | Commercial: £1,000 – £5,000+
Exact pricing depends on property size, sensor count and system type. We provide a detailed quote after your free assessment.
Common alarm system mistakes
Buying a DIY alarm from a supermarket
Consumer-grade alarms use basic sensors with high false-alarm rates, limited range and no professional monitoring. They often fail when you need them most. A professionally installed system is designed, tested and certified for your specific property.
Not covering all entry points
Burglars target the weakest entry point. If you protect the front door but leave rear windows and side gates uncovered, the system has a gap. We survey every potential entry point and design full perimeter protection.
Ignoring false alarm prevention
Frequent false alarms lead to complacency — you stop responding. We use pet-immune sensors, proper positioning and zone programming to minimise false triggers so every alert is taken seriously.
No remote monitoring capability
An alarm that only sounds a siren is useless if nobody is nearby to hear it. PyronixCloud gives you instant smartphone alerts with event details so you can respond immediately, wherever you are.
