What we install and configure

Network infrastructure for businesses

DrayTek business routers

VPN, firewall, load balancing, web content filtering and 4G/5G failover built in. DrayTek was named PC Pro Router Manufacturer of the Year 2025 and CRN Specialist Vendor of the Year 2024. As a DrayTek Approved Partner, we configure these systems to their full capability.

Wi-Fi 6 access points

Mesh wireless with WPA3 security and seamless roaming. Site surveys to determine optimum placement, channel allocation and power levels — no guesswork, no dead spots.

Managed PoE switches

For IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, VoIP phones, access control readers and IoT devices. Managed switches allow per-port configuration, VLAN tagging and remote management.

VLAN segmentation

Separate business, guest, CCTV, VoIP and IoT traffic onto isolated virtual networks. Improves security and ensures critical systems cannot be disrupted by guest or IoT traffic.

VPN and remote access

Site-to-site VPN for multi-location businesses. SSL VPN for remote workers. All configured through DrayTek with appropriate firewall rules and access policies.

4G/5G WAN failover

Automatic internet backup when the primary connection goes down. The DrayTek router detects the outage and switches to 4G/5G in seconds — your team stays connected without manual intervention.

VigorACS cloud management

Centralised cloud management of DrayTek routers across multiple sites. Remote diagnostics, configuration push, firmware updates and network monitoring from a single dashboard.

SD-WAN for multi-site

Traffic management across multiple WAN connections and multiple sites. Prioritise latency-sensitive traffic such as VoIP and video conferencing across your WAN links.

QoS configuration

Quality of Service rules to prioritise VoIP, video conferencing and other latency-sensitive traffic over general internet use.

DrayTek Approved Partner · DCNA Trained

Omni3 is a formally approved DrayTek partner and holds DCNA (DrayTek Certified Network Associate) training. This means we design and configure DrayTek networks to their full capability — VPN, VLAN, failover, SD-WAN and VigorACS cloud management — with direct access to DrayTek technical support.

How we work

Network installation process

01

Network survey

We assess your building, count devices, review your current setup and understand your business requirements — connectivity, security, VoIP, CCTV integration and future plans.

02

Network design

We design the topology: router placement, switch locations, access point positioning, VLAN structure, VPN requirements and failover configuration. You receive a floor plan and equipment schedule.

03

Cabling

Where new structured cabling is required, we install it — Cat6 or Cat6a to each device location, terminated at a patch panel. See our data cabling page for infrastructure detail.

04

Equipment installation & configuration

DrayTek router, PoE switches and Wi-Fi access points are installed, racked and fully configured — VLANs, firewall rules, VPN, failover, QoS and VigorACS management platform.

05

Testing & handover

We test Wi-Fi coverage, confirm internet failover, verify VLAN isolation and document the network. You receive as-built drawings, login credentials and a network diagram.

Pricing

What affects business network installation cost?

Network scale

A small office with 10 devices is a different project from a 50-person office with CCTV, VoIP and guest Wi-Fi. The number of devices, switches and access points directly affects the cost.

Cabling requirements

If structured cabling is needed, cable run count and distances are the main cost driver. See our data cabling page for cabling-specific pricing factors.

Router and WAN specification

A single broadband connection with basic firewall is straightforward. Dual-WAN with 4G/5G failover, site-to-site VPN and SD-WAN adds equipment and configuration cost.

Wi-Fi coverage area

Larger spaces, multi-floor buildings and high-density environments need more access points. A site survey determines the minimum required for reliable coverage everywhere.

Security and compliance

VLAN design, firewall rules, VPN configuration and web content filtering add configuration time — but typically represent good value for the security and compliance benefit they deliver.

Ongoing management

A flat-rate annual support and monitoring contract through VigorACS is available for businesses that want proactive network management without a dedicated IT team.

Pricing depends on the scope, equipment specification and any cabling requirements. We provide a detailed, fixed quotation after a free network survey.Request a survey →
