Is Energy Shield included in every Omni3 installation?

The documentation package and IWA deposit/guarantee protection are standard on all Omni3 solar, battery and EV installations. Priority support and annual health checks are included as part of our ongoing customer care commitment.

What is an insurance-backed guarantee and why does it matter?

An insurance-backed guarantee (IBG) means that if the installing company ceases trading, a third-party insurer steps in to honour the guarantee. It protects your investment beyond the life of any individual contractor.

How does the IWA deposit protection work?

When you pay your deposit, it is registered with the Insured Warranty Association (IWA). This means the funds are protected if Omni3 were unable to complete the work — giving you full financial confidence before installation begins.

What does the annual health check involve?

We remotely review your system's performance data against expected output, check for firmware updates, flag any monitoring anomalies, and assess whether any tariff or configuration changes could improve your returns. We report findings and recommendations directly to you.

Does Energy Shield cover physical damage to the panels or equipment?

Physical damage such as storm damage or impact is typically covered by your home or buildings insurance, not Energy Shield. We can advise on suitable cover and ensure your insurer has the documentation they need.

Can I transfer Energy Shield if I sell my property?

Yes — the IWA guarantee and documentation package transfer with the property. This is valuable when selling, as buyers and their solicitors often ask for evidence of compliant installation and active protection.
