Battery storage systems installed at residential properties — including the EcoFlow PowerOcean — currently qualify for 0% VAT, whether installed alongside solar panels or as a standalone unit. This follows the February 2024 rule change that extended the 0% rate to standalone batteries.
On a typical battery installation, the VAT saving is £600–£1,000. All Omni3 proposals for residential battery storage reflect the correct 0% rate — the price quoted is the price you pay.

Can I add EcoFlow battery storage to my existing solar panels?

How long does installation take?
A typical EcoFlow battery storage installation takes one to two days. We handle everything from electrical isolation and cable routing to commissioning, app setup and a full customer walkthrough.

What happens during a grid power cut?
The PowerOcean system includes automatic backup capability. When the grid goes down, it isolates from the network and switches to backup mode, powering connected circuits from the battery. Switchover is near-instant.
