Omni3 has been based in Pulborough since its founding and provides electrical contracting, solar PV installation, battery storage, EV charging, and security services to homeowners, businesses, and public-sector organisations across West Sussex and the South East.
Being part of this community has always mattered to us. When the opportunity arose to support the Pulborough Robins Under-9 team, it was an easy decision. These are local children, coached and supported by local volunteers, playing in the same town where our team works every day. That connection feels right.
Why Grassroots Sport Matters
Grassroots football rarely makes the headlines, but it quietly does some of the most important work in any community. For children at Under-9 level, it is rarely about the result — it is about turning up, learning to work as part of a team, and building confidence in themselves alongside their peers.
The habits formed on a muddy pitch on a Saturday morning — communicating, persevering, supporting a teammate who has made a mistake, celebrating together — are ones that stay with people long after the final whistle. Alongside the physical benefits of regular activity, organised sport gives children a sense of belonging and a reason to step away from screens and into something shared.
None of that happens without the adults who give their time freely. The coaches who prepare sessions week after week, the parents who manage kit and logistics, the volunteers who keep the club running behind the scenes — their contribution is often invisible but never insignificant. The players are the ones on the pitch, but the whole Robins community makes it possible.
